Wade's 65 Comet back from the dead

Post by wade65 »

Hi All,
After more than a year in a shop getting some work done I knew I would never make happen, I finally have a semi-running car.
It was a shell with rusty floors, no interior, no heater, bad harness...
Now I need to get the brakes working, get around to wrapping up the rest of the interior, and then see what else will break after 15 years off the road...
I know I will be coming back with questions but I am pretty excited to get back on the road in time for Summer!

Welcome back, Wade. Looking forward to following your build. Is that a Classic Auto Air unit?

Sorry for the delay - I was out of town for a week and then buried at work until now.
The a/c unit is a vintage air system. Works great and uses the factory heater controls.
