Got under hood today
Today I finally had time to change the oil and filter on my NTM Cyclone. Seller said the car overheated with it's aluminum radiator. I left it alone and ran it after the oil change for 45 minutes checking temps with my infared gun. No overheating---the factory gauge is wrong. Indicators are good, lots to do. It's pulling 20" of vacuum at hot idle but I couldn't get my dwell tach on a terminal. Made a list, a new voltage regulator being #1 as it is sending 17.5 V to the battery at hot idle. Must be welded closed. Anyway the journey starts and I will be here doing my research and posting when something relevant happens. DR out-----------------
