64 Dash Pad Install - Tips/Tricks?

Post by kevinshi »

OK since you all are telling me to get my pad installed (before the windshield)...

I recall in the past that getting those clips installed is a pain (like hammering a nail covered by a foot of foam). Any tips/tricks to pass along on making it a little less painful?
Thanks,
kevin

Sorry been too long to remember what worked. Im pretty sure I pulled the instrument cluster and glove box liner.
Seems to me I gave Henry an earful a 4 letter words, yelled a bit, threw some stuff, walked out and slammed the door a couple times BUT eventually I got all the clips installed correctly. Seems to me it took several sessions over about a year!
Good luck, hope your experience is better than mine.
