ignition switch

Post by barbee6043 »

Trying to get this project going. New switch but old ignition solenoid. I will start and run but will not turn off at the switch. I tried a second new switch I had on hand. Same thing. Acording to factory electrical manual I have the wires going correctly to switch.

I feel like there have been a lot of defective new parts lately. Glad you figured it out.

Cool 8)

I was tempted to post a relay replacement. Used to throw $$ @ problems but times have changed, unfortunately :?
As Boss posted, nothing is made as well as it was. That relay may last another 50 years.
