Thanks, good call on suggesting to reweld. Ground them down. Not much there. Would have been a problem later. Couldn't figure out why my welds looked so bad. Then I realized that I had the mig dialed in for 20n guage sheet metal. Turned it up, what a differance. So pissed @ having to fix the rear that I wasn't paying attention. Was able to reweld & install the rear today. If the tires fit , I hope to roll this baby out tomarrow.

Mounted rear tires today. No fitment issues. Glad to have all four wheels back on the ground.

hey ur wheel n tire pkge looks great on these cars a modified nastalgia old look awsome . that suspension with currie pkg real tough peice.keep it up. wheels r they american racing. 8)

Pushed car out today to clean out all the leaves & debris from the tent. Hard to weld when the leaves keep catching on fire.

I just noticed this post,,,,am so sorry for not getting back sooner,I get to looking at pic's and sometimes for get to read ! I have a hard time posting pics,,,what would you like to see?? yours is gonna look mighty sharp with all that rubber on the ground in the rear,,,and thank you... Looks good. Love the stance and the wheel/tire combo.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

IMO,RUSS,your comet will look better than mine ,when viewing from the rear,more tire,more tire ,I sure like that rear end set-up you have on yours,thanks and keep after all that good work...............pop
