65 Cyclone once owned by Dyno Don
Re: I'm new to this site! 65 Cyclone
That picture was taken before the fire when the gentleman that I bought it from owned it. I will post a picture of this thing on fire and after the fire it'll make you cry. When this gentleman that I bought it from was on his way home he smelled wire burning so he pulled over and called the fire department but while he was waiting no one would stop and help him out he said they just kept driving by.

Joe,The roof has a couple dimples in it so I had a couple body guy's come look at it and they all said it can be fixed by shrinking. That's when they heat it up with a torch and cool it off with cold water using a sponge if I understand them right.I had this checked before I bought it so I knew if the top was savable. The trunk and engine compartment were untouched from the fire...Thank god!! I will post a picture (After the fire) of the car as it was when I bought it.

Marc....that's a beauty! Sure can't tell from the pic that the interior burned. I was expecting to see scorched paint and damaged windows. No worse than it's damaged, your seat frames should be in serviceable shape. Here's a link to a place in Washington that some of the guys have used for seat foam, seat covers, door panels, etc. You might want to give him a try.

I don't know how, but I only saw the "before" picture when I made my comments about how little it was damaged. The "during" picture looks more like what I was expecting to see. Hope you can find everything you need to bring it back to life.

It looks like it will be a nice Comet again, and it is great that it has a history like it does.
Look forward to seeing and hearing more about it.
See Ya,
