I know, it's my 240Z not a Comet but this transposes to any difficult bolt. In fact, my 5.0 had a water pump bolt twist off when I removed it. Thankfully it was flush with the block so I could weld a nut on and back it out. Anyway, I though I'd share it here.

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

Re: How to remove water pump bolts on my Z.
that is a common thing it appears on a 5.0..same thing happened on GLENDA's mustang,,a pair of visecrips bailed me out..thanks the info,as always your videos are worth watching...thumbs up on that color on the falcon...by the way,on the 5.0 when I went back together,I used plenty of anti-seize not only on the threads but also on the shoulder of the bolt..cause that's where the bolt seize's at,,,seldom ever on the threads...thanks again STACEY !! popLip Ripper wrote:I know, it's my 240Z not a Comet but this transposes to any difficult bolt.
