YOU need to notice just how the cap attaches to the wheels old caps pop on by useing knots on the outside of lug nut pattern,,,today's baby moons use 4 knots on inside of lug nut pattern.....been there !!! pop

Make sure clutch and shifter is adjusted correct before you pull the transmission,,,sometimes on my top loader it'll scrap just a tad going into 2nd,,,,,not often but once in awhile,,,,so cover all your bases before takeing tranny out,,,,unless you just want the practice,,, :shock: :shock: :lol: :lo...

JMO.TTD's, are my most favorite wheel...BUT.. they don't always suit the car,,,,sometimes depending on color and stance....in your case I vote for steelies with stock lug nuts {new with clear coat} and without any hub cap what so ever,,,with a new bright bearing cover on front spindle painted black ...

I never thought about what JIM said if repairs has been done on useing molded carpet,,,,but in my case my comet was and is just like it was built....perfect shape,,,,but that is good advice and info.....pop
