Re: Hard Brake Pedal
Thanks for the reply guys, it was a drum brake system to start with a single MC. It will be a few days before I can get the car on the lift, but will check this out. The new dual MC was for a 67' Mustang, will check pushrod location and verify MC diameter.

Hard Brake Pedal
My 65 has a hard pedal and pulls hard to the left. I haven't had a chance to tear into it yet. It is an original drum brake car, I did install a 67' manual MC. It also has new rubber lines installed. Any ideas or suggestions before I start removing things?

Got mine done at Chrome Tech USA Good work quick turn around for chrome work, paint and repairs. Even painted the die cast parts that were plated elsewhere.

Re: Body work and Air conditioning /venting
Got a Vintage Air unit with servo controls that work with original controls, works well. How did you guys either close off or connect the PS air box to the unit? Used a coffee can lid and tape but it won't stay in place. If it would connect to the Vin Air unit would prefer that.

Re: tail light socket replacement
Does anyone know where you can find replacement back up light sockets? I'm missing one and all the parts cars in the area have been stripped of these sockets. These twist lock into place.

65 AM radio mounting and speaker size
Can anyone tell me where the back brace, that goes on the back of the radio, bolts to under the dash. Can't remember location when I removed the radio. Also, any ideas on a front speaker, the dual unit will not fit. Hoping for suggestions before I guess again, thanks again.

Re: My Bride's 65 Project
Thanks for the comments. Just got the AM radio back from Tayman Electrical with an FM conversion done. Hope to get it installed this week so she will have some tunes to drive by. Still got a final buffing to do, but she is driving it when she can.

I used Chrome Tech USA for replating my bezel, he also painted the rechromed die cast parts. He did some repair work on the bezel as well.

65 Caliente side bumper brackets
Can anyone provide a photo of the front and rear side bumper brackets? Mine have been long gone and I'm trying to fabricate something close that will work. Without them the bumper ends sag a bit.
