Re: ATTENTION: Cherry Blossom Ford Show
Yep, chrome stick-ons from autozone tick me off. I see cars as a form of art and that they should be crafted as such. Not some cheesy billboard on wheels for your crap chrome strips, bad choice of cheap wheels, etc. I don't mind judging a friend's car. I rag on them about their cars all the time and...

ATTENTION: Cherry Blossom Ford Show
ATTENTION: The Cherry Blossom Festival Mustang & Fords Show hosted by the Flag City Mustangs in Macon, Ga. is March 24th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be in Central Park. We average about 200 cars a year. I will be judging the Young Owners category and I'm stoked, because this is the first car show I'...

Omg, I'd LOVE to have that second Cyclone you posted. The one you think is from the forums. That color is mint!

CRITES MAKING CYCLONE HOODS!
Hello, fellow dwellers of Comet Central! In my pursuit of 1965 Cyclone hoods, I sent an email to Crites asking them if they would begin reproducing the 1965 Cyclone hoods. Well, I got a reply and apparently there haven't been enough people asking for them to make a profit from them vs. the cost of t...

Re: new to site
Hit up the "Links" section at the bottom of the forum Board Index. There's definitely a few sites in there that have '64 Comet parts. And welcome to the site!

Re: 200 6 cylinder
I'm not an expert by any means so don't quote me on this. It seems that the 2.8L 170 c.i. inline six was added to the Comet in '61 and dropped in favor of a larger 3.3L 200 c.i. in '65. I'm not sure how many other vehicles used the 2.8L, but I'd bet on any '61-'64 2.8L. The 2.8L was also brought bac...

Re: '65 Comet Cyclone Parts
Yeah, I found the ring you're talking about. I don't know much about that hood. It took me forever to find out that it came on the Cyclone to begin with. What's the common name for that hood?

I sat in the crib and flipped through my dad's parts magazines... the first step to solving your problem is admitting you have one, lol.

Re: New kid from Georgia
I love the Moultrie swap meet! I go with my dad if I'm not working. I can never see everything in one WEEKEND! The last day is awesome. e.g. Ran across a guy with a 427 short block that told me to name my price. Mind = Blown. Literally. If I'm not busy trading my Fairlane for a Comet next week, I'll...

Arvinode Exhaust
Well, since I joined this site, I've discovered that there are performance parts for I6's which is what's in the '65 Comet 202 I'm getting. So I searched Classic Inlines, came across "Arvinode Exhaust", watched a video or two of it on youtube and found out that an I6 actually sounds really awesome. ...

Oh wait, they went square in '64, didn't they... Fine, I'll go with '63 then, lol.
