Re: 1965 comet headliner bows

Hey Bob do your bows have colors on the ends? If so there’s a certain order for installation.

Re: Looking for a dual master cylinder

'67-'72 Mustang is the same unit, I believe. JT In my foggy beer sedated brain there was a reason I used a Maverick MC as opposed to an early Mustang part. Was it the bore diameter of the Maverick unit? (15/16” vice 7/8”)? Or that the Maverick one has a built in residual pressure valve in the rear ...

Thanks Joe,

I went ahead and purchased one from autokrafters but I'll check them out for seat covers
Cool. I’ve ordered a ton from Autokrafters as well and they always come through. I think they’re owned by Ecklers now?

Re: Drvers side rear Quarter panel wanted. '64 Cyclone 2dr

If I were you depending where you live and the general condition of your car you would probably have better luck finding a decent running car that has good 1/4s and part out the rest. IMO I say that cause everyone wants good 64 1/4s. I bought my car in 1974 and the 1/4s were rusted out. Fred Rememb...

Thank you all... I should be able to figure out something from the choices...
It always exciting... Almost ready to fire it up with no drive shaft...
Hope all goes well... Engine has not run in 14 years...
You may get trans fluid from the output shaft without the drive shaft. Be safe!

Believe it or not but that adjustable rod from the pedal linkage to bell crank is reproduced https://cgfordparts.com/ufolder/cgcat.p ... Search+%23

I had to buy one for my 65...the original one was frozen.

Re: Finally building my 64 Comet

The switch that activates the turn signals is in the steering column. Once you remove the steering wheel you’ll see it. The harness goes through the column and exits under the dash area on the left side of the column.

Re: Stumped - 63 comet 302 Accelerator linkage

On my 64 Falcon I used a 65-66 Mustang throttle linkage for the Victor Jr/Holley setup. It took some modification but fits perfectly and looks good. Super simple linkage as well. I had to use a 65-66 Mustang gas pedal; which matches the 64 Falcon brake and clutch pedals nicely.

Re: Headlight and Horn Relays

So just for my understanding, what would happen if you ran those headlights without that harness? it looks like those bulbs on the new lights would plug right into the old headlight plugs on the cars harness. I’ve also read that nothing happens. They’re not any brighter than the sealed beam incande...
