Re: 1963 S-22 4 door 170ci

Thanks guys. I have discovered the model is not S-22 as you all have stated. I have some images I took on Friday and just have not had time to post them. I have found several flaws as I took a very close look at the car inside and out. It still is in very good shape but no without blemishes. Is ther...

Re: 1963 S-22 4 door 170ci

It does have the chrome spears on the rear qtrs. Will the 289 or 302 work with the two speed trans? or is it better to use a C4 or manual? I will try to get some images today and then try to post them. What about chrome trim is any of that available or is there a Falcon equal that can be used? Thank...

1963 S-22 4 door 170ci

I have a good friend who currently has a 1963 S-22 4 door in what looks to be very good shape. It is tan or putty with a tan interior. Everything works and it drives, I may go drive it Friday and can then post how well. I have not been under the car but the only dent is the passenger front fender at...

When he showed the car on Sunday near the end of the show I think he said a Gasser Project. I was very surprised to see the car there at all because they have panned the stock pile of project cars in the past and I have not noticed the Comet. It is always fun to see what he does with stuff. Mike I love to fish, go about three weeks a year and a few weekends. This year I have to work one of the weeks however. From the Lakes near you that you listed you must be near Camdenton or just south of there. Thats only 1.5 hours or less from me. Looks like it will be a great house when you get fi...

All Ford Car Show June 24 - Columbia MO

I now have a couple of vendors scheduled and at least two of the local car dealership are bringing vehicles for display. I now have CD head units promised for raffles during the show. We have gained some support from Hilton Hotels in our fund raising efforts as well. They are donating a portion of t...

It is an interesting thing that folks expect a large motor and lots of engine mods or they just walk by. I have a 69 fastback mustang with a 250 six in it. It has some modifications; dual headers, low restriction air cleaner, dual exhaust, electronic ignition and live wires and very clean under hood...

Mike I spent a lot of time thinking about changing my 250 to a 347 stroker. Ford Racing has one with GT40 heads and more hp than the original 428 that was in the car. It would fly. But I decided to stick with the 250ci, even before Mike began his quest. I am glad I did and now with new parts and per...
