Thanks Joe. Time wise it took around 36-40 hours. The radius on top part of the scoop changes about every two or three inches but if it didn't I guess it wouldn't have a little bit of rake to it. Wow,,,,again ,,,WOW! Really nice work! How do you plan on attaching to hood? Lou Hello Lou ! I made the hood out of 18 gauge steel so it would be rigid enough and not need any extra support. I will cut out the shape I need on the old hood and tig weld the scoop in. Everything was tig welded.....

The reason for the holes was to be able to access the areas needed to attach the stainless trim. However , I could make removable covers for the openings to keep debris out. Thanks guys for the input !

IMG_20220823_132010.jpg Instead of welding a flange to the tubs and attaching it to the quarter panel I decided to make and inner panel that will be welded to the wheel tub. Basically the wheel tub will then fit a half an inch or so away from the quarter panel and I won't have to worry about weldin...

the tubs and tub panels are not attached yet just mocked up but I think they turned out pretty nice.

I never fabbed sheet metal until I started this project and it just takes practice and time and a few good tools.
