Re: Unsafe site?
I did yesterday. Clicked on a link on the lower left that allowed me to proceed anyway. Signed in a couple of times yesterday and had to use that process each time. Today, it logged right on. I think Google is just flexing its muscles and "keeping you safe", whether you want them to or not. Jim

Re: Finally building my 64 Comet
Sounds like you've settled on the steelies. Get a pint/quart of Polar White and paint two wheels white. Paint the other two black. Mount your tires, put the white wheels on one side and black wheels on the other, then walk around the car a dozen times. Still can't decide? Take a pic of both sides an...

Re: Carpet question
I'm planning to install a T-5 in mine, so I'll be removing the shifter hump and closing the opening. Would a molded carpet for a hardtop automatic work OK?

You need a pic of Clyde parked in front of that mural.

Re: 2021 Comet Gathering in Pigeon Forge TN
I stayed at Mountain Breeze a few nights ago and confirmed they still have the trailer lot for anyone needing to store their trailer. Is that separate from the motel parking lot? We've always just parked our trailers at the end of the parking lot or on the grass in front of the motel in the past, h...

Thanks, Sami. I thought they were probably colors, but thought I'd ask. Thanks for the info.

Re: Headlight and Horn Relays
Thanks, Sami. I understand the 2.5mm2 wire is equivalent to 14AWG, but what do PU and MU stand for?

Re: Headlight and Horn Relays
Hi, There will be big risk for burning if you use excisting wires with H4 bulbs. Those need more current (AMP) and it means heat as well so those wires need to upgrade to thicker ones. I did upgrade the head light system last summer for my Comet 64 and those are much brighter now. You just need 2.5...

Bet she was a hit at C&C. Check out Joe's thread on headlights, unfolding as we speak.

Re: Update on me.
Wow! Great to see you back on line! I'll pass the word on to my Sunday School class. We've all been praying for you. Get you and your Comet to PF this year, stuff the trunk with whatever needs installing, and we'll fix you up.
