I'm very interested also, as I am looking for the single speed wiper switch. My motor, arms, and wiring are all good, but the wipers cycle themselves once every 30 seconds or so with the switch off. I pulled the fuse to stop that.

I didn't. I was just trying to be a little funny and give myself a reason for painting mine red. Mark's car looks great. tom mine was that carnival red or orange,,I sure did not want that,,,so picked out a shade of vermillion red,base coat/clear....wish I had painted it aniversey silver like the on...

Thanks guys, glad you all like the car. We were worried that the color wouldn't be right, but when we saw it finally painted, we knew it was the right choice.

Alrighty then, Our '64 Caliente is done. It's been a long road, but we are happy with the results. I've tried posting pictures with no luck, but hopefully this link will work. Decided to go with the AMK '64/'65 Mustang set. Should work for the majority of it.

Howdy,

This is the next piece in the puzzle I'm looking for; the clips that hold the side trim on our '64 Caliente ht. I've got one original. Size is approx. 5/8" X 3/8".Been told there are no repops of these. Is there another clip that will work?

Thanks. Drove it around for a few months, couldn't stand to see the rust amy more. Convinced the minister of finance (shmbo) it was time to get the restoration process going, and she agreed .

I'm wondering if the AMK '64-'65 Mustang master kit would have enough matching bolts/screws to make it worth a try, then either use some of my original ones/try matching at the local fastner shop?
