took your advice, once i took the engine wiring out and saw how bad the corrosion was, got a ez harness from a buddy i know who had one lying around. If i cant save the connectors how did you wire the stuff with odd ball connectors ie headlights,taillights?

In the middle of a 302 swap (331) on my 63, want to know what ya'll did for the wiring( under hood wiring ). Understand its simple wiring, but did ya'll use 260/289 wiring to make it easier? or just use the stock wiring(6 cyl). the car needs new wiring in general and think about would it be easier o...

Thanks everyone for the info, ill keep everyone posted once i get one, i have a lead on a 92 ranger lying in a yard for parts, and i'll keep ya'll posted when going though the install process.

Do you know of any vehicle that have the 8 in?, I have been told the best was from a Maverick and a 8.8 out of a 92 and older rangers was a close match but would need some kind of work done. Mavericks and older rangers are hard to come by in my area. Just trying to get a good idea if what to look for.

i found my 302 on Facebook market place, but any fox body mustang and some older ford trucks will have the engine, check pull a part places, when you do find one, check the engine code to see what year, because that will come in later in your build.

Have a 63 comet hard top that is getting a 302, what is or are suggestions for the rear end swap to handle the 302 for street use/ weekend cruiser? Or could you upgrade the 7.25 to take the 302?
