I traded Bill for the 331 rotating assembly out of the comet he rolled in Port Alberni for a set of doors for his new comet. Later I gave him a wiring harness and tail lights. The old comet was running 11.30s the day it rolled. Bill's comet inspired me in my late teens and early 20s to buy a 65. Roger

Fred we might go to one the old times drags put on by the Loafers. We went and watched the June race and were planning on taking the comet to the August race but plans changed.

I'm back
I have stopped by occasionally but unable to login. No way of contacting the moderator without logging in. Old name is tweaked. Still driving and racing my 65. Running 7.60s in the 1/8 mile now. Life has been crazy the last few years so I stopped most of my internet surfing. Looking forward to catch...
