Thanks, now there is 14" wheels and 195/75 r14 tyres. The car is classified into Finnish museum car register which have restrictions of being original but also free of taxes. I cannot modify those brakes for example.

The most unclear is about Offset for 14" and also the width of wheel (6 or 7")

I did replace my old 4 leafs springs to 5 leafs springs with rubber around it. It is better to drive if there is one or two person sitting in rear seats but very hard if drive alone.

Hi, There will be big risk for burning if you use excisting wires with H4 bulbs. Those need more current (AMP) and it means heat as well so those wires need to upgrade to thicker ones. I did upgrade the head light system last summer for my Comet 64 and those are much brighter now. You just need 2.5m...

It was about 10mm past the nut and my old leafs was about 7mm so with new ones only 3mm past the bolt. Not so much.

I did downgrade my Comet's windscreen washer tank back to 60s and FoMoCo bag style. There was still electronic washer pump which was not in original car in 64 model

I just saw your nice and beautiful car here. I am from your neighbour country, Finland and owner of Comet Caliente Convertible 289 V8 1964 too. My car has white interior but other way it looks quite a similar.

I found that my car was sold 1st time from dealer 'Johnny Haas Motors in Lakewood Denver Colorado' and there was sticker in car that it was sold by a seller Myron D. Wolt.
