My pipes crackle lifting the throttle and coasting @ 70 mph.
Had a 8N years ago that popped acorns out of the tailpipe first startup in Spring

Re: 1965 Comet Caliente (little red)
Is the differential properly vented? Reason I ask; before I bought my car, put it up on a rack for inspection and found fluid down back of brake backing plate onto rear wheel. Chalked it up to a bad wheel cylinder I would have to replace and loaded the car onto the trailer. Shaking down the car afte...

Re: Zinc info
Probably don’t need it since my motor is all roller anyway but better safe than sorry. Decided to stay with high zinc in the roller after I found some corrosion on a couple of rocker arms. Evidently the engine set up a good while after it was broken in. Still sits for long periods in very humid con...

Know a guy w/ a few '57 9" diffs that fit. Lives in Indiana, IIRC. Bought one from him last summer.
I'll look for contact info, if you're interested.

Re: what did you do to your comet today?
Drove my dirty Comet to the local C&C this morning w/ camera in hand. Not a FoMoCo product in sight! The line in the coffeeshop was too long for me to stand and endure. Jumped back in the seat and headed straight home. Good news on engine tune! I followed the timing curve for the Boss 302 engine and...

Re: Z code '64 Marauder
I’m with you on the skirts. The rear quarters are already skirted enough for my tastes. I’d also ditch the spotlight, tissue dispenser & a couple of other items. Everyone’s tastes are a bit different. Funny to see option combinations some individuals ordered back then. I’m kind of ‘black or white’ a...

Re: Hello.
Howdy Doody!
I bought a one owner 202 like yours' 30 years ago. Memory fails me a bit but the mileage was around 70-80K.
It was classic white w/ red interior. Interior was a time capsule. Long story short, sold it to a friend that now owns two others like it.

Re: poboyjos ride
Dude, you have the patience of Job to tackle all of those welds.
Great job!!
Like Lou, I was wondering how you are going to handle temp controls, esp. the defroster?
I was thinking about the NASCAR cowl induction but remembered you had the air intake tackled already
