I'm in. A PayPal would probably be best but maybe contact Lori to make sure she has access to it.
Ditto. Good idea, Fred. Safest way to pull it off.

Re: Finally building my 64 Comet

I have six nice caps with Mercury stamped into them. I think they would look much better than baby moon style. https://i.postimg.cc/LXQccndt/46412-F6-D-080-F-43-D5-AF93-801987-F43-D5-D.jpg Gave a set of these to an old friend 25 years ago. Found them a week ago, digging in his barn. Might put 'em o...

Decrease the free travel in the clutch linkage first before you yank it. I'm betting you have too much.
Release bearing should be engaging near the top, not near the floor.

Re: Finally building my 64 Comet

'64-'65 Comet looks good in both but I think my '63 would look more 'correct' with the chrome steelies set up like Pop mentions. Just have to pen up the yard dogs  They wrecked my chrome when I was a young guy :!: :!: :!: If my Mag 500s didn't have MercuryMan center caps, I would do it in a he...

It is Black Cherry, and will have the original medium/light Ivy gold interior.
Unique color combination. Back when there were more choices.
With Groover, she's definitely a keeper. Glad you are keeping it on the road! :D

Re: Doug's 65 Cyclone build

A fan shroud is the most important and the correct fan,,,,these pretty after market fans ain't always the answer.,, Point well taken, Pop. I need to pick up a shroud soon. Might cool things down a bit. Aluminum heads and headers throw off a lot of heat under the hood. Have hood hinges set now where...

Re: Doug's 65 Cyclone build

'65-'66 the same, all good there. I'm going to be putting my car through the stress test this Summer. Gets into upper 90's down here sometimes. Running stock rad AND A/C condenser up front  I may be upgrading to aluminum cross-flow myself if engine tops 195F. Heat soak jumps 20 degrees now wi...

Re: Doug's 65 Cyclone build

I'm thinking about buying a blueprint crate motor 347 fully dressed. They sell a harmonic balancer but look to me like it will be missing the water pump and timing chain and gears. I'm wondering if my 6 bolt bellhousing and my flywheel will work. Have any of you guys used a blueprint crate motor? I...

Clyde is looking great! Glad you solved some of your problems.
Rattles- are hood, doors, windows and trunk lid good and snug? I need to address some of those issues myself.

Re: 1964 Comet 202 Wagon V8 - For Sale - Denver Area

What are engine specs? Are you parting it out or selling whole for pick-up?
Inquiring minds need to know. Might save from redundant requests

Thanks!
