Re: trick flow FE dual quad intake
i hear folks are getting good power from the trick flow heads but dont forget to address the rockerarm pads. you have to mill .250 off of the rocker pads to get the geometry right on tfs heads.for some reason trick flow rocker stand pads are .250 taller than stock.i dont know why they did that, but ...

Re: Borgeson install

It has the 2 bolts coming off of the head then there is a turnbuckle?? from a water pump bolt to 1 of the 2 bolts from the head to stabilize it. It's holding pretty good but I wouldn't tru...

Re: Borgeson install
I had a new pressure hose made up 9" longer and 3 feet on non pressure hose and a power steering cooler mounted in front of the radiator. I drove the car for the first time in 2 years a little bit and the steering is very nice, it felt like I was driving in my wife's car. At first I wasn't even thin...

Re: Borgeson install
Got the engine in and got the pump hooked up with the hoses.I will have to get longer hoses as both of them are right next to the headers. But I did have the engine running and the steering worked fine. I haven't been driving yet so we will see. This is the only way I could figure to set the pump up...

Borgeson install
Well its been a while but this is how far I am. I pulled my motor for a rebuild so that gave me plenty of room to put the Borgeson unit in. When I first called the company to ask about the install they told me that I would have to cut 21/2" off of my steering column. Wrong. I'm about a inch or so fr...

Re: manual to power steering 1966
I cut the steering shaft at the manual steering box and the shaft slid out from inside the car with the steering wheel still attached. How do I get the top piece of the wheel off, the piece that you push to honk the horn? I tried pushing down on it and turning counter clockwise but when I push down ...

Re: manual to power steering 1966
Thanks. Does the steering shaft just slide out then? If it does is it from the bottom you pull it out or the top or either? Thanks
