Re: New Guy in San Diego / Caliente

Update: I found that shock top/bracket so now she's all dialed-in mechanically. Running well (fast!) and looking pretty decent in fresh flat matte paint. Thanks, Guys.

Re: New Guy in San Diego / Caliente

No, I'm not going to tub it. The prior owner was going to but he only got as far as cutting out the fender wells. I now have to fix what he messed up. Or I'll just find & install a back seat & ignore the issue altogether. I fix a lot of problems that way! :)

Yes, Sir. I dig the 1970's Street Racer vibe of the traction bars. It's a classic high school parking lot look.

Re: New Guy in San Diego / Caliente

Here she is in all her $3000 Craigslist glory. Has a 302 / C4. Inner fenderwells were cut out for tubs, that were never purchased or installed by the prior owner. Plus has no back seat. So I can sharpen marshmallow sticks while I drive :D

Re: New Guy in San Diego / Caliente

Thanks, Guys. Yes, it's the type of cap/mount that's held down by three bolts. I'll post a pic of the car today. Btw, the previous owner replaced the grille with a '54 Ford Truck unit. Ya know, I actually LIKE how it looks. ------------Yes, Blasphemy!

All is well so far but I'm having trouble finding a Shock Tower Cap ----------(the Bracket/Mount that bolts to the top of the front shock tower) Oddly the L Side one is missing on my car. So the top of my LF sho...
