I purchased the 3 piece rear bumper seal kit, but cannot figure out how to install the Center piece that came with the kit. Instructions not clear, only say to trim 1.125” off the end?

So a shop here at home was able to match up my old tie rods with new ones. He and I figure the ones I needed are used with a V8 with power steering. Life is good an I can get the front end work finished!

My Canadian manufactured Comet convertible has a 170 engine, but has power steering. The tie rods for a 6 cylinder only appear to be for manual steering. I do have a set of these, but they will not work. Anyone run into this situation before? Everything I look at on line leads me to think I need the...

Hey guys, I have been trying to find the front rear spring rubber bushings for the convertible. They say the regular bushings for a comet will not fit. Can anyone shed light on this, and maybe where I can find new ones?

Well! It has been a long time since I last posted anything. The car was taken to the body shop last week for body work and paint. Should get her back in a month or so. Then it’s reassembly time. Pics to follow

Thanks JT and Sassy, yes $210/400 is a chuck of change! Will head to a wrecker and see if I can match them up.

Anyone have hood hinges laying around, that you do not need? Left one is in good shape, but right is all bent out of shape. There are no springs on mine.

It is Black Cherry, and will have the original medium/light Ivy gold interior.
