Got a 72 comet GT 302. Replacing all the power steering(assist) components so a complete drain down. Anyone know how much fluid is required to refill. Using Type F trany fluid of course

Had a similar problem with my 72. Turns out every time I put the end in the speedometer it was disengaging itself ever so slightly as I thought not putting the plastic retainer that holds it in would not make a difference but it did . Thanks . I thought I remembered when I got the car that there was a brake light on but that must have been for the braking system( comes on and goes off when she starts )

Should be a fun build. I have one myself that I built. 302-AOD-9” rear 370 posi- had A BW T5 manual but I removed it. Solid car no rust. Straight-All new chrome . Contact me if any questions. Maryland car.

Had the same problem turns out the radiator hose was collapsing and restricting water flow . Thus the reason for the springs they place inside them.

Welcome, that is a nice looking Comet. An problems getting the tv cable on the AOD to work with your setup?
