I have no heat in my shop either but wet haven't had a cold winter this year. Moved the comet out last weekend to weld up a jig to work on rearends. Insulation and heat for next winter.

I read an article about that incident. Apparently the throttle hung and running a magnito so it would not shutdown. Crazy ride. Watched a video today of a no prep/street outlaw car call Kong crash. Scary pictures of his helmet broken.

You can trim some of the shock tower yourself without a kit and without moving the suspension. I trimmed mine and wish I had cut more. I parted out a 65 comet that had a 351C in it. Shock towers were cut and had shortened control arms. No idea how it drove.
