Re: Laura

We were just missed by it, yesterday afternoon the edge went through and it got really windy, thundered some but nothing in the way of rain. It looked like it went right over Pops so hopefully they didn't have any damage. Looks like it might have gotten close if not on JohnO as well, at least with s...

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

And with that electric choke hooked up it is firing right up, I was doing more wiring on a few little things this afternoon and thought I should see if it still started when I finished, banged off without any hesitation. I haven't driven a carbureted car in so long you forget how life was before fue...

They didn't have the filter element I needed so I just got this instead, I had to use the base off of the other one to make this work.

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

Oh-h-h. I thought it was because you didn't have any scrap stainless bed rails or trailer tongues in that pile out back that you could form into tubing. While it is true my scrap pile is rather limited on stainless anything I believe the real reason was answered in my reply in the last post from Fr...

If you do not let me know and I will track it.

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

Well you do so much stuff as cheap as possible, then plow right thru the middle of expensiville Because I do so much stuff myself I can afford to pay someone to do a few things :P Hopefully, I will be happy with how they do it. Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

And so it starts, more tire,, more power, stronger parts that don't break, more power, more traction,,, My uncle had come up to see the Comet today, he hadn't seen it since the motor went back in, I turned it around while he was here, he was standing there as I pulled out and made the comment that ...

Ooopsie, that happened way to easy

Re: 64 Comet Tail light chrome rings

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience in removing the chrome tail light rings from the plastic tail light lenses? I don’t want to break the lens and need to repair some dents in the chrome rings. I am going to find out eventually, I have few spare taillights and one day when I get time I a...
