I hate the AOD which is why I plan to put the aftermarket overdrive on the C4.

Would like to know why you hate the AOD.

If you know someone who is a electrician they probably could bend up your roll bar. I'm a retired electrician and bent up my roll bar out of 1 1/2" tubing used by stock car racers. Just a thought.

Woke up this morning to 57 degrees. Had to wear a sweatshirt fishing this evening but were supposed to get some heat next week.

My wife wouldn't ride in the car without shoulder harnesses. So I installed a roll bar and mounted the shoulder harness on it.

If everything they say about it is true then the $900.00 is a pretty good price I think. If you want to totally restore it then you will be looking for some parts. The 65 Comet was a one year style. Very cool car. I had a 67 hardtop with a 289 and drove it until the seat went thru the bottom of the car If I was to build another car that's what I'd build.

I glued the clips to the pad with silicon and then bent the tabs a little bit to make them hold better. When installing I used a rubber mallet with a soft touch I got it to work the second time because the first time one of the clips came off the pad. Haven't had any problems since.
