COMET CENTRAL

Today we got the rear bumper off so we can paint behind it and put on the much better chrome bumper. Well we managed to get some small things done on the Comet. The Crites hood is on and we were trying to figure out a prop rod. We decided to go with Turnbuckles that go where the hood springs were. fair67 here is another thing I did to mine to guard the edge , & maybe help prevent cracks around the carb hole. Got the hood pins on and now my Daughter is excited to drive it again.

Got the epoxy primer on the hood today and my daughter and wife sanded it. We cleaned and painted the firewall and fender edges. So now we can paint the hood.

We got the hole cut and it seems to fit so far.
