The inside of the trunk has no weather seal and water gets in . I am wanting to clean surface rust off the trunk seal area and get a trunk mat in it that is not there. The trunk needs sanded cleaned and painted . I need to buy a new trunk mat preferably an original style one.

This is what the car looks like with no bodywork yet . I think I will let her drive it like this for a while till the trunk is done and she gets used to it.

I just finally got to drive my daughters 65 comet to the alignment shop. We live in Illinois so it gets to 100 quite often today was 92 the car temp guage was 210 so I used my temp gun and it was 202 at the sensor and 206 at the head.
