Re: Thank You Everyone
The inside of the trunk has no weather seal and water gets in . I am wanting to clean surface rust off the trunk seal area and get a trunk mat in it that is not there. The trunk needs sanded cleaned and painted . I need to buy a new trunk mat preferably an original style one.

Re: 65 Comet Steering
Just an update I finally managed to find an old school shop nearby that alignes older cars. The ride there was a bit scary but I gotta tell you that the ride home was pretty darn good. It is so much better after this alignment it is hard to believe. The guy told us he took it up to 50 miles an hour ...

Re: Comet running hot
To be honest I am not sure I bought the car with the motor assembled and kinds running. It runs good now but I do not know the thermastat. I'd probably have to try a new 180. Re: Comet running hot
What thermastat are you running? 190°? A 180°one might run a little cooler[/quote]

Re: 65 Comet Steering
My daughter got in the car and moved the steering wheel and said wow that sure feels different. It sure seems tighter. I have since attempted to adjust the toe and I think I got it pretty close. I now after a month have the front end parts all replaced to manual and the car off the jack stands and b...

Re: 65 Comet Steering
First I want to thank everyone for the help and great advice. This is what I ended up doing in the picture you can see the idler arm installed but just so you know I am going to make a dust cover for upper and lower bearings. I took the idler arm and milled off the exposed rubber parts that protrude...
