Re: Car Lift and Garage
Still too cold, or too rainy, or both to epoxy coat my floor, so I continue to "feather the nest", as my wife calls it, with stuff I won't have to haul back out when the weather permits me to coat the floor. Re: 1963 Comet Custom Build Thread
That is impressive, and looks great! Did you photoshop the pic of the finished car, or is that an existing car you're using as the inspiration for yours? If you photoshopped it, then I'm REALLY impressed.

Re: 1965 Comet Caliente (little red)
The next time you get it on the lift, raise it just an inch or so off the floor with the front suspension hanging free. Take a crowbar and place under each front tire and move it up and down. Watch for any slack motion in the upper and lower ball joints. They should be tight with no vertical motion ...

Re: 1965 Comet Caliente (little red)
All the pictures, including your sig pic look great. Adam is a good photographer. What is the tall thing that looks like a giant antenna on the passenger side of the car in the pics taken "in the wilds"? Almost looks like a guy wire, but there's no pole in the background. :? By the way, the struts o...

Everything is looking good. That walnut insert will look good along with the other walnut trim. How much clearance do you have between the tire and fender when you cut the wheels all the way to the left in your first picture?

Welcome aboard, Ryan! :D Surprising your wife with a 50 year old car and telling her that's how you're getting home half way across the country speaks volumes about your marriage. Glad you've started working on it. There's plenty of advice to be had here, free for the asking. What are your pla...

Joe, if that's really you, Halleluiah!! If it's dictation to your "secretary", a big thanks to them. Either way, we hope you're back to your usual volume of sage advice soon.
