Re: Hard Brake Pedal
My 65 has a hard pedal and pulls hard to the left. I haven't had a chance to tear into it yet. It is an original drum brake car, I did install a 67' manual MC. It also has new rubber lines installed. Any ideas or suggestions before I start removing things? Thanks for your help... Probably two diffe...

Had to form and trim it. https://www.ecklers.com/falcon-vinyl-top-2-door-hardtop-black-or-white-comet-1963-1965-90-86016-1.html Did you try Joann fabrics for something for the rear package tray? Finished installing my vinyl roof. Really wasn't that bad. Not perfect but I am very happy with it, extremely happy it is done. https://i.postimg.cc/mZSRQQ4Z/1934-DC40-63-CC-4-A96-9-BFB-248-F40-E5752-A.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/3JSTqYWP/CE76029-C-DFAD-4-E0-D-B7-A3-4-B7-CE1-A313-C7.jpg https://i.posti...

Looks Great Doug!
Can't wait to see it in color. What did you use for the firewall behind the rear seat?
And Happy Birthday!

Re: Shock mount swap?
Very nice, when you were talking about cutting off and switching/ welding the shock mounts I thought you were going to cut at the base and weld to the shock body. Like they were originally welded, leaving half the eyelet/ring to weld the new mount to is brilliant!!! Wow!

Re: The Wonder of the Generator to Three-wire Alternator Upgrade
I agree with Boss and Tom, Buy anyhow, I stopped by my shop and the wires you are asking about are 10 gauge. They are black/ yellow stripe and black with red stripe. They are the thickest wires, other than batt cables. But I don't think my alt was 60 amp. The factory shop manual says it is either 38...

Thanks Joe,
The hood is body color. It is just dirty in picture. The hood was sitting in different part of shop while we were installing engine, and got dusty .

Re: Mustang in a box
Was going thru some pictures and seen these, thought I would update. The mustang is actually farther along than the Comet but the owner is also working on it too. Re: Lou's 65 Comet Build
Been taking it easy from surgery. But doctor told me I can get back to it with easier stuff. So decided to start my vinyl roof install. Marked the center of the vinyl top and also marked the center of my roof. Test fitted it to make sure the seams were right. Then started to mask off where the vinyl...
