So ive been wanting to upgrade the 260 i recently purchased to try and squeeze just a little more HP out of the motor i ran across bmmaurer's post stating he used a edelbrock cam intake and a 465cfm holley carb but from the calculations ive seen these motors with 85% VE only need 350 cfm and only hi...

Ive heard that some of the v8 4 speed cars had a non syncro first is that true? I thought T-10 was a full syncro trans. It looks like a toploader would possibly be easier to find that a T-10 but ill see whats out there

4-Speed Trans for 63 260 cars
Hi all,
I was wonder what was the factory 4-speed option available for the 63 260 cars as im trying to do a conversion on my 62 and want to try and use factory style components is it a standard top loader or a T-10? I cant find the info really anywhere so anything would be helpful

Something tells me your going to do a lot more with your car than i will with mine :lol:, i just wanted my setup to be stronger, also are the comets the only cars that already had adjustable strut rods? Mine are threaded a good 4" or better on the end and it uses 2 nuts to locate where the bushings ...

Go to a triple Tempo TBI setup, with a custom split intake so you can turbo it. Go big or go home as they say but seriously i bet a triple tempo tbi setup would run pretty well and gas mileage would be decent

Those arent paint chips theyre rust holes luckily i have another set of fenders waiting to be reworked an mounted, which is a shame because the fenders on the car are neigh on perfect other than those rust holes

Does anyone have suggestions on how to glass to steel??? or at least make it hold? Ive heard some ol boys use rivets to hold the scoop on and then just glass and bondo the seams to make it look good
