Are the interior door handles positioned like that in 64's? Seems awkward at the 11 o'clock position and up into the window area a little bit.
Will be interesting to see how this does. Seller has done a good job of presentation on BaT.

Re: 66 Trunk Photo-Spare Tire location
Were you able to get all the parts needed? That hold-down clamp (I guess you can call it) that is under the big wing nut, holding the jack and tire iron in place, is hard to find. I luckily found one at the Moultrie GA swap meet last year. I got the jack off eBay, in good condition. Hope we never h...

Re: 66 Trunk Photo-Spare Tire location
Thanks Lee!
It didn't look like my spare would fit in that same location, but it will. I get the parts today so will find out soon enough.

66 Trunk Photo-Spare Tire location
Can anyone post a photo of the trunk of their 66 Comet (mine below for reference)? I’m pretty sure my trunk’s been modified and would be curious to see a stock trunk to compare (I know that's a Mustang gas tank, mounted sideways). Also, my spare tire is held in place with a bungee cord. I’m going to...

High School Charity Car Show
Went to a local car show yesterday. I've known this Mustang for months and never noticed this sticker before... :) https://i.postimg.cc/DZKV2dpZ/IMG-3497.jpg Show was to help start an Ag mechanics program at a local high school. Good turn out, about 100 cars. Sort of responding to comments made on a...

Welcome! You will find great support here. That wagon looks to be in pretty decent shape, should be a fun project.

Re: Car Lift and Garage
Glad you are feeling better Jim. Years ago, while working on an addition to my house, I took an unplanned exit off an 8' ladder. Broke my humerus bone; arm immobilized for 2 1/2 months, couldn't swing a hammer for a year. Definitely screwed up my timeline for that project. :( Ladders are to be respe...

Re: Cruise Night
Those kinds of cruise-ins are great. There's one every 2nd Saturday at a strip mall parking lot not far from me that usually draws 100+ cars every month. Some are regulars and some occasionally come, and the cars run the gamete from Model T's to dragsters, ratrods to near concourse, restomods to cr...
Re: Floormats
Floor mats came today. I really like them! Fit is perfect, quality is good. Selected the 1969-77 Comet logo since it matches Caliente script on the car. These are manufactured by Auto Custom Carpet. Ordered them through Summit since I wanted some other items and this got me free shipping. https://i....

Re: Hello from North Texas
I’m pretty sure that this has the same fuel tank as the 66 Mustang so I’ll pull the trigger on a unit from Autozone. Don't be so certain about the Mustang gas tank fitting... Mine has a Mustang tank, installed sideways, to make room for the mini tub. I would double check if I was you to make sure t...
