Re: Body color
The reason I am thinking of doing this is because I made the front fenders six inches longer so the the ribbed aluminum trim will not fit any more, I used the upper trim from the back fender to make the trim for the front fenders so that is OK, so now I need to figure out what would look good I thi...

Re: New project

I think the gentleman who started this thre...

Re: New project
Wow is all I can say. Sadly, this seems to be the way things are going in this country. People don't have to agree with ones choice of how they build their car but why the "pile on"? The internet I think is one of the best and worst things to happen to us. I'm sure that a lot of things that are said...

Re: '65 Caliente Convertible Undercarriage
In the body shop business when you run across a job you don't really want to do you usually just price it high enough that a reasonable person wouldn't pay that amount. Maybe that's where this shop is after getting a good look at it. Rust repairs are no fun and there aren't a lot of shops that will ...

Re: Gas tank
You may not like the price but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and just pay the price. Also consider it mat not still be around long. I have procrastinated on buying stuff when it was available then when i was ready to buy it was no longer available. No guarentees it will still be around! Ron...

Re: Gas tank
I have one that has been professionally refurbished I would sell for half the cost of a new one. It's still in the box it was shipped back to me in. I had it done just prior to the new ones coming out and it cost more than the new one that I bought afterward. Sadly, these cars aren't mainstream enou...

Re: Steve's 64 Comet Project
Comet looks good Steve. One of these days I hope to figure out (take the time) how to post a few pictures of the one I am working on too. Right now it is in so many parts spread all over the garage pictures wouldn't show much other than I have a lot of work to do. You and Al are definitely ahead of ...

I'm not sure either but I'm like you in that it would be reasonable to think they might be. Do you want to part with it?

1964 Comet
I'm fairly certain that it must be around here somewhere but with two builds going on I can't put my hands on it. That said does anyone have a gas filler neck they would part with ? Thanks
