Re: Question for '65 owners about headliners...
One other thing you might try. See if you can "recline" the back of the seat. Being as tall as you are, reclining the seat will give you more headroom. Also, if you have thigh to steering wheel clearance, you could raise the front of the seat. This will have the same affect as reclining the backs. M...

Re: 62 /63 fender swap
62 left fenders should fit OK. The right side is another issue. The 62 right fender "might" fit an early 63, but even that is questionable. In 63 the radiator support was changed fit the V8, because of battery relocation, and the fender was changed as well.

Not sure about 60 to 62, but only early 63s will work. 63 1/2 mount differently at the headlight area. The difference was for the V8 mounted generator in that the radiator support was about 3/4" farther forward. Could you make a 63 1/2 work, sure but you would have to cut the 62 mounting area off th...

Re: Tri Power 1964 Comet
If your 64 is like my 63, there is no kit available. I had to fabricate a piece that attached to the gas pedal linkage (rod). I used 3/4" flat stock and attached as a stock linkage would. It's length was determined by the amount of throw needed to have the middle carb go from idle to full throttle w...
