Re: TACHOMETERS
very early built 65 cyclones used the same larger diameter tachometer as the 1964 cyclone if it was NOT equipped with optional Rally pack. later built 65 cyclones used smaller diameter tachometer like the one used with rally pack.

Re: Gas Tank
should work fine as long as you use the falcon fuel tank sender as the falcon is a 16 gal tank and comet had a 20 gal tank.

Re: 64 Comet Gas gauge doesnt work ?
I have a problem with the gas gague working in my 64 calinete i recently bought..... TOday i pulled the gas tank and installed a new sending unit.. I then added some gas to the tank after reassembly... Still i get no reading on the gauge... Not sure could it be a problem with gas gauge in the dash....

Re: Power valve and carb ?'s
you cannot hook into your PCV line you need to hook into a direct vacume source on intake manifold. a PCV valve is a controlled vacume leak. is this a performance engine ? i have a built 289 with a healthy cam that pulls only 11-12in at idle. at 50mph it will pull approx 19.5in of vacume.

why not use hooker super competition headers ? i have seen them on two different 65 cyclones and they fit fine.
