Guess it has been a few days since I posted :roll: I have been busy mounting casters on the bottom of the Comet so it will not drag the floor pans out going down the highway :roll: I thought they were to keep passengers from dragging there feet when you are going to blow the doors off the local ric...

I bought some just for testing. I found it good for soldering not welding. The last stuff I bought was Muggy weld. I used it repair the metal grill parts on my 70 Torino. Low heat is the key. Enough heat to make the rod melt on the base metal. Any more heat and the and things start to oxidize and wo...

That was a concern. With out the two cars setting next to each other you could not tell the floor angle or the height of the fire wall.

Does anyone own a 65 mustang? I would like a couple of dimensions off the cowl. I am thinking of replacing my firewall, rear aprons, lower cowl, cowl side panel and part of the cowl with mustang sheet metal. By replacing these parts I can move the engine back in the engine bay and have all new sheet...
