So with news of possible 1/4 skins soon available I decided to give the lower 1/4 patch with all the holes a skim coat of fiberglass on the inside & slap it on. my 1/4 is already half patched, the front half was patched by a P.O..If they repop 1/4s maybe I'll redo the whole 1/4 later on before paint...

before I tore the motor apart I would test that thermostat in a pan of water on the stove, check with a thermometer to see when it opens. more than once.
