I also ran a 351C ,toploader for many years. I think 70 Mustang headers were used with a couple modded pipes and pounded on lots.
Stock V8 manual steering with some mods to the header pipes for clearance.

Re: Dan's 65 Cyclone project !
That would depend on how it's applied
Street tires or slicks
Manual or auto
Racing or street use?
I ran a 351C, 4 speed 456 rear gear on wrinkles with 0 strengthening to the car but it shook it pretty good on 4-5k launches at the track.
I don't think street tires with an auto or stick would hurt it.

Re: Wheel Machining
Bernie at Bernie's Machine in Saskatoon Sk. could take care of you. Lol Im sure an independent machine shop with some ties to the racing community could/would help you. Check with custom wheel shops and fellow racers for leads. You know me ,Id throw those suckers on the floor face down on a piece of...

Don't have any pics at the moment but pretty sure the cable in mine came out the back of the toe board brace(name torque box?). I as well have a foot pedal Ebrake now.

Re: ‘64 Caliente on BAT
Idaho plate but being listed as being in Granite Falls WA. just about on the coast.
That would make for registration problems up here, is going across state lines easier south of the 49th.
I didn't go through the ad, maybe the seller is in Idaho.

Re: Front sway bar
The fact that all parts interchange cept the centerlink would indicate to me the frame rails must be further apart. If the uppers and lowers were further apart there would need to be other changes to components.

Re: Considering a 66 Mustang GT dash assembly
Thanks for the input Jim I like your dash for sure.
Thanks Boss that'll give me a starting point.
The dividers are what does it for me.
Edit
Went out and measured the Comet dash pad. I got 53.5" so very close.

Re: Considering a 66 Mustang GT dash assembly
The GT dash pad is really the draw for me plus the cost of bezels etc.
I like the 67-8s as well but way too different.
