Re: Export bar install question
Good to know thanks. I just finished a 67 Barracuda coupe unibody car and I know one has to take care with them.

Export bar install question
I am putting an export bar in my 65 Cyclone. Question, is the car sitting on the wheels to do this or is it jacked up supported from the subframes?
I think done wrong could cause bad things to happen.

Got under hood today
Today I finally had time to change the oil and filter on my NTM Cyclone. Seller said the car overheated with it's aluminum radiator. I left it alone and ran it after the oil change for 45 minutes checking temps with my infared gun. No overheating---the factory gauge is wrong. Indicators are good, lo...

Re: New member registration?
Right on Fred, when the time comes PM me. I have a question, does the site have "thank you" or "agree" icons somewhere one can click to respond to posts? The FABO site is good that way. Just asking.

Re: Dual fours on my Cyclone
dual fours ARE impressive,Eds not quite as much as Holleys. The Eds are probably drilled for square bore and Holleys will probably fit if you're so inclined. Yes I have had both and tuned both. I use a wideband on my engines now to help tune and it makes it easy. My current daily driver is a 1967 Ba...

Re: New member registration?
Thanks to all for the quick welcome and information. I can already tell I am going to get along well here. This site has good bones a lot like TFFN did. I posted there for about seven years until I started my Barracuda build. I am going to be asking for a lot of advice and help. Ambition stays in my...

Re: New member registration?
Welcome on! I remember the user name over on tffn. I use a couple of pic host sites, including the comet central one but more often I use postimage because you can set it to automatically resize your pics as you upload them. a few pointers & about & links to it on this thread; https://cometcentral.c...

Re: Dual fours on my Cyclone
My newly purchased 1965 Cyclone A code has an aluminum intake with Cobra cast into the front of it and two Edelbrock four barrel carbs. No vacuum secondaries and no choke assemblies. I haven't driven it much but it seems to start, run and drive fine so far. Does anyone know what this is? The intake...

Re: New member registration?
Hey thanks for the welcome. I am trying to learn your navigation system and I am a big photo poster and I like to post total build threads on all my cars. When I built the 404 Comet I posted to TFFN for help but Comets were a sideline there. I am really glad to find this Comet specific site. Buildin...

New member registration?
Hello all: I just brought home my new 1965 Comet Cyclone 289 A-code with factory 4 speed. I built a 1965 404 a few years ago and I am very fond of the platform. I just finished a 6 year build of a 1967 Barracuda notchback coupe and needed another project to keep me out of trouble. I was very glad to...
