Thanks Fred! I think I may go that route too.

Hate to put this in the trunk!!! Looks better than the ones on my car  https://i.postimg.cc/DfNXxKSc/IMG-0871.jpg Original Motor Wheel Corp. 15 X 7 from 1978. Joe Beautiful daggum wheel! Love them. Hey Joe could you make a spacer to raise the cap away from the grease cap? Something that’ll fi...

Re: ‘64 Falcon Track Project
I think I’m agreeing with the thermostat stuck open too. At that low temp the water shouldn’t even be flowing through the radiator at all. Should be bypassing back into the block until it heats up. I plan on draining the radiator and block soon to flush it all out. Good time to remove that thermosta...

Re: ‘64 Falcon Track Project
Joe, that ain't nothin' but COOL!! 8) That looks like SO much fun. Caught myself leaning into the turns as I sat in my chair. Only complaint I've got is that big a$$ mirror gets in my way. Maybe next time out you can slide your camera down a bit so we can see under it. The car is running grea...

Re: ‘64 Falcon Track Project
I'm pulling your leg, man  YT gets cranky sometimes converting files. No biggie if it doesn't load. That drive onto the track is how I drive around town. Save The Eight Inch Foundation member. Like your rowdy cam 👍 Joe II  Thanks Joe! I love that cam but next time I’d go with a roller...

Re: ‘64 Falcon Track Project
Cool to see ya having fun!! Obviously the C needs a tune or driver, lol. I'd experiment with engine heat. If it idles at 180 and races at 150 lots a room for investigation. Agree Fred. Plenty of fast cars out there being driven conservatively whether because of their high value or the drivers lack ...

Subscribed :D What a teaser, Joe! Just when you're pulling on the Pantera.... Pull the thermostat, see if it's stuck wide open. My Comet did the same thing first winter I drove it w/o thermostat. Joe II Thanks Joe I’ll check that out. The next video is still loading. Im pretty sure I did some...

Re: ‘64 Falcon Track Project
Another track weekend done with the Falcon. Must have done about 100 laps screaming at 6700rpm without a major issue. The brake cooling ducts, hub spacers and 1 1/8” sway bar seemed to help. She cornered very flat and the brakes were predictable the entire weekend. I bought an $8 app called “Track A...

Re: Lou's 65 Comet Build
I have been trying to decide what to run. Been looking at an aluminum one like Boss has, but I didn't know ford had a factory flex fan. What years/models did they use a flex fan? Thanks Lou Hey Lou I think I have a stock Ford flex fan somewhere here. If you want it it’s yours. Im running a lightwei...

Re: Joe's '63 1/2 Tinkering Thread
Hey Joe why don’t you “contour” the grease cap flat with a hammer? I think there’s enough space behind it for that. This coming from a guy made a special tool to keep his purdy? :P Grease cap already flat, Joe. Used Ford B5A-1131-A. If I do anything, taking a grinder to the retainer  ...

Re: Joe's '63 1/2 Tinkering Thread
Hey John, will that 14" spare fit your front discs? That could be an ugly surprise if not. Jim Hey Jim just an FYI, the only 14” Ford wheels that don’t fit factory disc brakes are early 65 and under. Everything after that including standard steel wheels and stock optional wheels clear the KH...
