4 speed parts ???
Hello everyone. I am thinking about swapping out C4 automatic to toploader in my 64 comet. There are some four speed parts on ebay. They are z bar 4 speed out of a 6 cyl., a z bar clutch rod and a z bar bracket. Will these work with an 8cyl as well? Thanks in advance, Jim

Re: 64 Comet Project
Thanks hechtspeed. I looked for about a year and my patience paid of. I paid $2500.00 on ebay/craigslist. I think I was lucky I ran into an honest seller. Its hard to tell how good a car is with only pictures. Its a clean, dry Califoria car with two small rust spots. The car ran when it got here but...

Re: Removing drip edge trim
Thanks both Jims, that worked out nicely. The rivets seem to be holding a bar in place that holds the rubber gasket in place and also the vinyl top. Should I drill our the rivets. Is there someone that sells these rubber seals? Thanks in advance, Jim

Re: Removing drip edge trim
Thaks Jim. It looks like very small rivets every six inches or so. Will they just pop out easily? Hey Jim I spoke with you a few months ago about your Cyclone. I found this 64 about a month ago from California. I gonna make up a list and drive to NJ and do some shopping at your place. Thanks Jim, fro...
