Re: Original hipo cyclone
well as far as the hipo option goes, i think what your refering to was a tsb using the D code, but ive never heard of any comets actually using that. Both mine just had a K which in itself is normally just a standard 289 4v. Also ive seen one of the original africa ralley cars that was also a K And ...

Re: ‘64 Cyclone update
The grey silver looks awesome on these cars. Mine is anniversary silver with black interior, which is original for the car, but ive always regretted not switching to ted interior wich i almost did. That thin trim piece under the trunk will be atough one to find, try craig in santa rosa he may have t...

Re: BACK SEAT SEATBELTS
Simpson also sells mounting hardware pretty reasonable as i recall, with the swivels on the base. I also put an original front set in the rear of mine. When i had my 65 cyclone i bought a set of crow lap belts and cut the tags off of them, and they were a dead ringer for 65 shelby belts. This was ab...

Re: 302 in a 65 caliente
I agree with Pop, ive never felt any gains by going to 302 vs 289, however i fell that the 289 is a better balanced motor and more "sporty" as it seems to be better suited to high rpm. In the end what do you plan on doing with it? As in what rpm range are you shooting for?

Re: How to post a pic
Well for one i have part of the build sheet that you can make out the long hand print on the bottom enough, but moreover as i found it untouched with all the hipo stuff intact except for the intake, and years of dirt caked on it im positive, the silver one i cant prove anything as i dont have the bu...

Re: How to post a pic
Well its not really in the makeing yet, ive hd it for years and wont be starting on it anytime soon as i need to get my other hipo going first. In any case it is comlpete, the only thing it was missing was the intake carb aircleaner and tach, which i have aquired all but the tach.
