Australian Nostalgia Drags

Post by Aussie Comet 1964 »

Had a great weekend at Nostalgia drags, done some work on the Comet that last week or so, rebuilt the front end & ended up giving it a partial respray to make it shiny again, on saturday they have a drag racing pioneers award night & this year my Dad was honoured to receive a pioneers award & as a bit of a tribute I ran a different bracket on sunday & named the Comet "Jindivik" after his first race car from 50yrs ago when drag racing started here in Australia, also a couple years ago I was given his old race number #35 to race with, sunday was a good meet, I ended up runner up in the final first time I raced that bracket. Congrats mate on your runner up status in your new bracket, great pics as always. Your partial re spray was most of your car!
