Heath, not bad here got a little freezing drizzle on the way home last night, the kind that wants to freeze on the windshield unless you keep the defrost going full blast.

Last week I was down in Arkansas at Mt. Home for a couple of days working at the paper there, Wed. morning the truck had a good coating of ice on the windshield that I had to chip off and then I had no vision to the rear because the mirrors were coated :x I think alot of people stayed home because there wasn't much traffic.

Supposed to start warming up tomorrow, rain and be in the 50's by Friday :D That's Missouri weather for you.

See Ya,
Mike

This is the thread I was talking about when the site hit 500 members, now knocking on the door of 3000.
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

I just looked at the member roster, I joined back in January 2006. Are there other long time members that are still active?

Actually Jim if you look to the right it shows you joined in January 2004.

I started the forum in November 2003 (wow 16+ years ago) I think it officially opened in January 2004, I remember struggling to get anyone on here, there was a really small group of about 5 or 6 here if I remember correctly, some I am still friends with even though they don't post any longer for some reason (Hillbilly Comet Man). Obviously by 2008 we hit 500 members.

There is always hope that we will keeping growing, you guys did amazing things while I was absent.

See Ya,

Sorry about the typo Mike, I meant to type 04 instead of 06.
I guess I have been into this Comet stuff a long time! ( over 50 years)

There is a lot of interest among non-members, too. Every time I log off, I first check to see who else is logged on and the number of visitors on the sight. Visitors are almost always in the 30s, and many days more than that. There were 4 on this thread as I typed this.
