that reminds me back in 1991,I was out goofing off and just got a hankering for a new MC,,so I stopped by the KAWASAKI store and bought a brand new 750 vulcan,,,,then had to go home and get this woman to drive my truck home...there was frost on the windows for aday or so,,,,but I turned on the defroster and all was good !!!!...I bought a camper trailer the same way one time,,,,but we'll not talk about that...I still have it,,,but she don't it like any better today then she did yrs ago...popcaseville cyclone wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 11:04 pmCongrats to you and your wife Fred!!! We celebrated 54 years September 10th. If I stopped and bought a motorcycle I wouldn't celebrate 55 years. LOL Congrats again: Andy

Sorry, Gnenda, I didn't read what I wrote, not sure how I can put too many letters in a name when I peck with one finger!

Re: Anniversary!!
thank you to all !! we drove around in the northrn part of the state,,all day trip,,,was at a steak house 3hrs from home, the waitress found out it was our day...she ask ,,what is your secret ?? I looked at her and said,,,there is no secret,,if you really care and respect each other and feel the reason your together is the work of the LORD,,then you don't wreck his plans !!! she said ,I'll remember that cause me and my husband are on our each 2nd I DO....I said ..it's all a give and take situation....each one should try to give more then they take,,,,and with just alittle bit of love and respect,it;ll work out ,,,about that time,GLENDA LEFT to go to the rest room,,this waitress came back over to our table and said ,,,sir,,I have been standing over there and just watching you 2,,,I can tell why you have been together so long,,it's in your eyes and actions toward each other,,,,,I just looked at her ,,smiled and winked and said that's the LORD'S PLAN,,,,,,,I sure hope we made enough impression that she doesn't have a 3rd I DO in her future,,,,thanks again for the kind words........POP

Re: Anniversary!!
Thought I'd resurrect this one. Doris and I celebrated our 50th anniversary today. Just got back from a celebratory cruise yesterday evening, so most of today was spent taking it easy, then dinner out this evening. Hard to believe it's been half a century since we got hitched. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Looking forward to the next 50.
