Anniversary!!

Post by SASSY »

Latter this afternoon we will be celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary!
Doing a bit of a dance because on the way home from visiting the kids we stopped to look at honda 1500 goldwing and I ended up buying and leaving it there which is 8 hrs from the house. So today Im prepping my little utility trailer, twisting a buddies arm to co drive and basking in Marilyn's attention, tough life! Lol

Happy Anniversary, Fred!

Didn't know you were a bike guy. I quit after my first case of road rash.
Happy Trails!

Woot to Fred, this kind of things make me happy to hear in the throwaway world we live in, too many people have forgotten what it means to make a vow to someone else.

Glad you had a good anniversary.

See Ya,
Mike

My first car was a '62 Galaxie but it had the big old 6 banger and 3 on the tree.
That should be a fun cruiser with a Coyote engine and highway gear. :D

Congrats, Fred! My sister and brother-in-law had a Goldwing and a little pop-up camping trailer they pulled behind it. They used to take rode trips all the time from their home just east of Atlanta, GA. One trip was out to the mid-west (Nebraska, I think), and another was to the north end of Nova Scotia. Lot's of saddle time.

Thanks Jim, we had a 1984 -1200 Wing 25 years ago and same thing spent many days in the saddle wondering around
the Northwest.
Marilyn is coming out of health challenges (not serious but painful) and hoping to rekindle some wonder lust plus this bike was on the bucket list.
These bikes are falling out of favour prices are down on these used, perfect for me.

Happy anniversary Fred! We had a very quiet 40th last spring, got some catching up to do! That new bike of yours looks like a comfy ride, my wife, Joan, used to fall asleep on the back of my Harley all the time and then complain about all the things she missed! We sold her Harley, and mine in 2011 when I gave in to the fact my hands went numb all the time (and a bad neck). Maybe a Honda would have made a difference! Take care! Cary

Thanks again guys.
Cary, Marilyn fell asleep on the back of our 1200 Wing all the time too,, lol.
Ya, the Goldwings are pretty smooth and the electronic cruise would make resting your hand easy.
I've been riding '81 Suzuki 850g with the full Vetter fairing and bag package(vintage classic, lol) for 20 years so the 1500 Wing will be a huge improvement.

Congrats to you and your wife Fred!!! We celebrated 54 years September 10th. If I stopped and bought a motorcycle I wouldn't celebrate 55 years. LOL Congrats again: Andy
