I don't know which is prettier...the snow or the sky. I think they're about equal since I don't have to live with it. I imagine ya'll would choose the sky.

We had planned to get together with a group of friends this evening to eat at a restaurant, then come back to our house with the group for desserts and to ring in the New Year. Found out this morning that one of the group, whom several of us have associated with a good bit during Christmas, tested positive for COVID. That kind of put the quietus on the whole plan. Looks like another New Year's Eve on the sofa munching junk food and watching the ball drop. Deja Vu.

I hope all you guys have a Happy New Year and a great 2022! By the way, Fred, it's sunny and 73* here this afternoon. 8)

Fred, looks a lot like the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. What year is you truck? I have a 78 F150 that is my daily driver from March till November. I put it away in the winter because they use so much salt on the roads around here.

Those factory ford caps from the late seventies are pretty cool. There is one for sale near me, I thought about getting it but never went and looked at it. My 78 is from Oregon so no rust.

Spoke too soon. 81F yesterday afternoon, sleet popping on the roof this morning
I've owned two 4X4s ('84 F-150, '91 Jeep XJ) but really don't need one down here unless you hunt or own a farm. I did both years ago but now just cruise the streets in my old home town in the Comet for kicks. Looks like that's on hold for a couple days.

It was a big change Joe. I was right in the middle of spring cleaning of the shop for the last couple warm weeks, first time in about a decade that it has had a good cleaning out so it took a lot of work,,,& hauled off a lot of junk ,gave away some & rearranged most of the rest. I still have more work to do but after it snowed yesterday & temp dropped that took all the fun out of it. It's amazing how much junk a man can acquire over time. Maybe I can start working on the comet soon !
