I was perusing the VMF and saw this 71 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. Never heard of it….

That is a rare car, I remember a couple of them in this area. One interesting feature on these cars was the “bulls eye” grill. In order to align the headlights the center of the grill was on a hinge, there was a large wing nut in front of the core support, undo the nut and the bulls eye pivoted up so the alignment tool had a straight shot across the front of the car.
Very unique.

Didnt The "Silver Fox" run that body style car?
Seems to me I read that despite the complicated frontend the car was very areo.
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about
