Looks like the one my dad bought new. Here is a picture of him holding me in front of it in the Summer of 69.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

It looks identical to my first Cyclone, too, except mine had American mags.Joe Travers wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 3:35 pmThis is the spitting image of my old car, down to the 1st gen Cougar styled-steel wheels-

The chrome hubcaps were missing from mine when I bought it. Picked up the Cougar GT wheels from a friend shortly after to doll her up. IIRC, they were 14" X 6". I think I was running G-60s on the rear but not completely sure, been a long time ago.
Deja vu to see another identical to her.
If I had the opportunity, I would buy this car but I'm perfectly happy with my '63. It's all good stuff.

That's a really nice Cyclone, love the color. Don't think I have ever seen a Comet that color.Boss/Cyclone wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 4:24 pmLooks like the one my dad bought new. Here is a picture of him holding me in front of it in the Summer of 69.
Do you have the same color in the graphic on the side of your Cyclone??

It is ocean turquoise. Probably the color looks a little off in this very old picture. Yes a bit of that on the side graphic.Lou's Comet wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 7:09 pmThat's a really nice Cyclone, love the color.
